| Abstract：Measurement of body composition is more important than body weight in metabolic syndrome and some other diseases．The body composition includes the distribution and percentage composition of fat tissue and lean tissue．The techniques used to measure body composition include two-and three-compartment method，etc．Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry(DXA)is a three-compartment method．DXA is more precise than CT in the measurement of abdominal and visceral fat tissue． |
