| 5 羟色胺( 5-Hydroxytryptamine，5-HT) 是一种吲哚胺类化合物。根据其合成部位的不同，而分为外周性5-HT和中枢性5-HT，可以通过两种截然不同的、相反的途径调节骨量。5-HT 相关系统已经展现出其作为新的治疗靶点和改善OP、影响骨代谢的巨大潜力，5-HT受体阻断剂、SERT 拮抗剂等有望成为新的一类有效治疗骨质疏松症的良药。本文就外周性5-HT与骨质疏松症的研究进展作一综述。 |

| 5-Hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) is a kind of indole amine compounds. According to different locations of synthesis 5-HT can be classified as peripheral 5-HT and central 5-HT, which can regulate the bone mass through two different and contrary pathways. 5-HT related system has showed tremendous potency in new treatment target, improving osteoporosis, and affecting bone metabolism. 5-HT receptor blockers and SERT antagonists are expected to be new drugs for the treatment of osteoporosis. This paper reviews the research progress of peripheral 5-HT and osteoporosis. |
