目的:了解女性护骨素( OPG)和转化生长因子-β( TGF-β)与骨转换指标的关系及其对骨转换指标的影响。方法研究长沙地区691名健康女性(年龄20~80岁)的血清OPG、TGF-β1和TGF-β2,以及血清骨特异性碱性磷酸酶( BAP)、骨钙素(OC)、血清I型胶原N-末端肽(sNTX)、血清I型胶原C-末端肽(sCTX)、尿NTX (uNTX)、尿CTX (uCTX)和尿脱氧吡啶酚( uDPD),并分析这些细胞因子与各种骨转换指标之间的关系。结果血清OPG和TGF-β2与血清BAP、OC、uNTX、uCTX和uDPD呈显著正相关(r=0.145~0.397, P均=0.000),血清TGF-β1与BAP、OC、sCTX、uNTX和uCTX呈显著负相关(r=-0.114~-0.286,P均=0.004~0.000)。调整年龄和BMI之后,它们之间的偏相关系数多数仍然有意义。多元线性回归分析显示,OPG和TGF-β2对BAP、uNTX和uCTX是一个正性决定因素,可分别解释这些指标0.6%~16.6%的变异。 TGF-β1对BAP、OC、和uCTX是一个负性决定因素,可以分别解释这些指标变异的0.7%~7.3%。结论本研究揭示了女性OPG和TGF-β与骨转换指标的关系,提示循环中的OPG和TGF-β是骨转换速率的重要决定因素。 |

Objective To explore the relationship among osteoprotegerin ( OPG) , transforming growth factor-β( TGF-β) , and bone turnover markers, and to investigate their effect on bone turnover markers.Methods Cross-sectional study was conducted in 691 healthy women in Changsha, aging from 20 to 80 years old.The serum levels of OPG, TGF-β1 , TGF-β2 , serum bone-specific alkaline phosphatase ( BAP) , osteocalcin ( OC) , serum cross-linked N-terminal telopeptides of type I collagen ( sNTX) , and serum cross-linked C-terminal telopeptides of type I collagen ( sCTX) were detected.Simultaneously, the levels of urinary cross-linked N-terminal telopeptides of type I collagen (uNTX), urinary cross-linked C-terminal telopeptides of type I collagen (uCTX), and urinary deoxypyridinoline ( uDPD) were also detected.The relationship between these cytokines and the bone turnover markers was analyzed.Results The serum OPG and TGF-β2 were significantly positively correlated with serum BAP, OC, uNTX, uCTX, and uDPD (r=0.145-0.397, all P=0.000).The serum TGF-β1was significantly negatively correlated with BAP, OC, sCTX, uNTX, and uCTX (r =-0.114 -0.286, all P =0.004 -0.000).After adjusting age and BMI, the significance of partial correlation coefficients also existed. Multivariate linear regression analysis indicated that OPG and TGF-β2 were positive determinants to BAP, uNTX, and uCTX, explaining 0.6% -16.6% variance of these markers, respectively.TGF-β1 was a negative determinant to BAP, OC, and uCTX, explaining 0.7%-7.3%variance of these markers, respectively.Conclusion The relationship among OPG, TGF-β, and bone turnover markers in females are revealed in this study, indicating that OPG and TGF-βin circulation are important determinants to the bone turnover rate. |
