| Osteoporosis seriously affects modern people’ s quality of life.Compared with western medicine, TCM has advantages in the treatment of osteoporosis, including definite curative effect, high safety, the multiple target efficiency, and comprehensive adjustment.By reviewing and discussing the researches based on “tonifying the kidney therapy” in the treatment of primary osteoporosis ( POP) in recent years from the disease model, TCM syndrome differentiation, and experimental and clinical research, this article concludes that researches on POP should not be limited to animal experiments, and it should be verified in clinical patient groups.The pathogenesis of TCM in the treatment of POP and its clinical characteristics need to be further and deeply explored, which will truely reflect the objective index of the disease nature, achieve the objective and quantitative theory with scientific description, and ultimately provide scientific basis for the clinical treatment of this disease and the relevant research prospective. |
