| 骨质疏松症及其骨折严重影响着人们的身心健康，同时也给家庭和社会带来沉重的经济负担，以现代医学为主体的主流医学在防治骨质疏松症方面发挥着主导作用，但随着社会的发展及人们观念的改变，补充和替代医学正逐渐引起人们的重视。补充和替代医学被定义为主流医学之外，能补充主流医学的不足并提供主流医学不能达到的诊断、治疗和预防方法。这方法使医学的概念多元化并对医疗事业做出了贡献。美国国家补充和替代医学中心则进而把补充和替代医学定义为目前尚未被考虑为主流医学的构成部分的医学实践。补充和替代医学注重个体化治疗、整体治疗、提高自我保健、自愈、良好的营养、预防性措施以及认识每一个体的精神本质等。随着现代科学技术的不断发展及实验和临床研究的不断深人，补充和替代医学在骨质疏松症的防治等方面将发挥越来越重要的作用，显示出良好的发展前景。 |
| 英文摘要: |
| Osteoporosis and fractures not only seriously impact physical and mental health of people，but also become heavy financial burden to the family and society. Modern medicine as mainstream medicine plays a leading role in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. However，with the change in the social development and people’s attitudes，complementary and alternative medicine are gradually attracted people’s attention. Complementary and alternative medicine are defined as outstream besides the mainstream medicine，supplementing the shortcome of the mainstream medicine and the diagnosis，treatment and prevention methods unreached by the mainstream medicine. This approach enables a wide range of concept of medicine and makes a contribution to health care. The complementary and alternative medicine as the practice of medicine has been defined as the unconsidered part of mainstream medicine by US National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine. Complementary and alternative medicine focuses on individual therapy，holistic healing，self - care improving，self-healing，good nutrition，preventive measures，awareness of individual，s spiritual nature，etc. With the development of modern science and technology and the deepening of experimental and clinical studies，complementary and alternative medicine may play an increasingly important role in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis，showing good perspective. |
