| 骨质疏松症(Osteoporosis，OP)目前尚无特殊的防治手段，一旦发生，很难恢复到病前状态。针灸可以通过改善患者的骨代谢生化指标、骨密度、生存质量等防治OP，其通过整体的调节作用丰富了骨质疏松症的治疗方法，且具有安全、稳定、副作用少等特点，在预防和治疗老年性、退行性疾病上有其特有的优势。近年来针灸防治OP的实验及临床研究均取得了一定进展，相关研究还在不断深人。同时也存在研究层次整体偏低、疗效评价指标不先进、研究周期偏短等一系列问题。针灸防治骨质疏松症的研究有待进一步完善并向更深领域发展。 |

| There is no special prevention and treatment for osteoporosis (OP) at the present. Once it occurs，it is difficult to restore to the status before. Acupuncture prevents and treats OP by improving bone mineral density，bone metabolic markers，and the quality of life in the patients. It enriches the treatment of osteoporosis by regulating the whole body. And it has the characteristics of safety, stability, and less side effect. It has special advantage on the prevention and treatment of senile degenerative diseases. In recent years，research of acupuncture has made progress in experimental and clinical studies. Related studies are still carrying on further. At the mean time，many problems exist such as low research level as a whole, non-advanced efficacy evaluation, and short research term. Related research remains to be improved and in depth. |
