骨细胞的数量是骨组织中最多的,占骨组织细胞95%以上。骨细胞均匀地分布在矿化的骨基质中,通过细胞膜的多个突触结构互相连接并与骨基质表面的细胞连接形成网状的细胞结构。骨细胞被认为是一种理想的细胞,在骨组织发育和代谢过程中启动细胞的生物化学反应。最新的研究已证实骨细胞通过直接整合骨的矿化基质和其他的多细胞网络结构,感受刺激、调控效应细胞(例如成骨细胞、破骨细胞、骨髓基质干细胞),除此之外骨细胞已被证实作为一种内分泌细胞并且可以调控磷的代谢。随着研究的深人,骨细胞网络结构对骨形成和吸收的影响逐渐明显,在生理条件下骨细胞网络结构通过激活破骨细胞促进骨吸收,通过抑制成骨细胞抑制骨形成。本篇综述将主要讨论骨细胞网络结构对骨生成和骨吸收的影响及其相应的研究和理论依据。 |

The osteocyte is the most abundant cell type in the bone, comprising more than 95% of all cells within the bone matrix or on bone surfaces. Osteocytes can be found throughout the bone matrix, and through cell membrane connections they can form net-like structure. During bone development and metabolism osteocytes are ideal cells in activating intercellular bio-reaction. Recent studies have confirmed that osteocytes sense stimuli and regulate effecter cells (e. g. , osteoblasts, osteoclasts, and MSC), by directly integrating the mineralized bone matrix and other multi-cellular networks. In addition,osteocytes have been shown to serve as endocrine cells and to regulator of phosphate metabolism. As the research deepens, it has been found that the osteocyte network obviously affect bone formation and bone resorption. Under physiological conditions, the osteocyte network enhances bone resorption by activating osteoclastogenesis but inhibits bone formation by suppressing osteoblast function. This review discusses function of osteocyte network on bone formation and resorption and its corresponding experimental and theoretical evidence. |
