| 目的 应用DXA脊椎骨折评估技术，评估老年男性初发甲亢患者骨质疏松和椎体骨折的发病情况。方法 116名老年男性初发甲状腺功能亢进患者（甲亢组）和116名老年健康志愿者（对照组）参加了本次横断面研究。所有人选对象均测定了腰椎骨密度、血钙、血磷等指标。应用DXA脊椎骨折评估技术，评估所有人选对象是否存在椎体骨折（经X线摄片证实）。 结果 老年甲亢组患者和对照组年龄、血钙、血磷等无显著差异（P >0.05)，而体重指数、腰椎骨密度明显低于对照组< 0.05)。老年甲亢组患者骨质疏松患病率（35. 3%)高于对照组骨质疏松患病率（22.4%)。老年甲亢患者椎体骨折率 (36. 2%)明显高于对照组（14.7%)。结论 老年甲亢患者骨质疏松和椎体骨折风险明显升高，DXA脊椎骨折影像评估适用于老年甲亢患者椎体骨折筛查。 |

| Objective Using vertebral fracture assessment (VFA) to evaluate osteoporosis and vertebral fracture prevalence in older male patients with non-treated hyperthyroidism. Methods This cross-sectional study included two groups of patients ：116 older male patients with non-treated hyperthyroidism and 116 healthy older men. Bone mineral density at L1-L4 was measured in all subjects，and VFA was used to detect vertebral fractures ( confirmed by X-ray). In all participants，serum calcium and serum phosphorus were measured. Results The mean age, serum calcium and serum phosphorus levels were similar in the two groups (P>0.05). The mean BMI and BMD at the lumbar spine were significantly lower in the hyperthyroidism group(P < 0. 05). Osteoporosis was detected in 35. 3% of older men with hyperthyroidism and 22.4% of healthy controls. Vertebral fracture rate was higher in older patients with hyperthyroidism (36.2%) than healthy controls ( 14. 7% ). Conclusion Older patients with hyperthyroidism are at a higher risk for both osteoporosis and vertebral fractures compared with healthy controls. This supports the pertinence of using VFA in the routine of osteoporosis assessment to detect fractures in older patients with hyperthyroidism. |
