Osteoarthritis (OA) is common clinical disease, and it is one of the diseases hard to treat, because the chondrocyte is difficult to repair after being damaged. Different signaling pathways regulate chondrocyte metabolism, and this paper listed three classic pathways, Notch, Wnt and MAPK signaling pathways, elaborated and analyzed their function during the different periods of chondrocyte metabolism and on inflammation and oxidative stress. Meanwhile, we summarized the effect of exercise on the damaged cartilage, in order to provide reference basis of exercise therapy on OA. |
