| Osteoporosis is a chronic complication of diabetes in the bone system. The incidence of osteoporosis and diabetes is increasing year by year. Severe cases can lead to fracture and affect the quality of life of the patients. At present, the efficacy of modern medicine in the treatment of osteoporosis is not accurate, with many side effects and high price. This disease belongs to Chinese medicine category of wasting-thirst combined with atrophic debility of bones. The treatment of traditional Chinese medicine has been paid more and more attention. In recent years, a lot of clinical and experimental studies have been carried out on the treatment of diabetic osteoporosis with definite curative efficacy. This paper reviews the recent research progress in etiology, pathogenesis, syndrome differentiation, clinical research, and experimental research. |
