Objective To estimate the effects of Baduanjin on patients with osteoporosis systematically. Methods PubMed, The Cochrane Library, EMbase, CBM, CNKI, VIP, Wanfang Database and other databases were searched by computer for RCTs met the inclusion criteria. The retrieval time was from the establishment of the database to January 2019. Two reviewers independently screened the literature, extracted data and evaluated the quality according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Meta-analysis was performed by RevMan 5.3, Stata12.0 statistical software. Results In total 15 RCTs were included, involving 1154 patients. Meta-analysis revealed that compared with the control group, Baduanjin group had increased total effective rate in osteoporosis patients, increased serum osteocalcin level (BGP) and serum alkaline phosphatase (ALP), and decreased pain score of patients (VAS), with statistical significance. The two groups had no significant difference in serum Ca2+ level. In terms of improving bone mineral density (BMD), Baduanjin group was better than the control group, which was statistically significant. However, subgroup analysis suggested that the effect on lumbar spine bone density was statistically significant, but femoral neck bone density showed no significant difference. Conclusion Baduanjin exercise has a good efficacy in the treatment of osteoporosis, which is limited by the quantity and quality of the studies, and needs to be confirmed by high-quality, large-sample randomized controlled trials. |
