| Prevention and treatment of osteoporosis (OP) is a major problem in modern medicine. This article sorts out the related contents of bone paralysis, bone withered, and bone exhaustion in the Inner Canon of Huangdi, and analyzes and summarizes the original classics such as the concepts, symptoms, etiology and pathogenesis, treatment principles, and methods discussed therein. Meanwhile, drawing on the understanding of later physicians on this disease, it concludes that osteoporosis should be treated dialectically from deficiency of the liver and kidney, deficiency of the spleen and kidney, qi stagnation and blood stasis, and provides new ideas and references for the clinical research. |
