With the increase of the absolute number of elderly people and the acceleration of aging in China, osteoporosis (OP) has become a public health problem that our country needs to face. In recent years, basic and clinical research on the prevention and treatment of OP with dipsacus aspergillus has become a hotspot. Studies have found that dipsacus aspergillus saponin VI has a beneficial effect on the prevention and treatment of OP. It can interfere with bone metabolism through multiple cellular levels and biological pathways, thus playing a role in the treatment of OP. In this paper, the effect of dipsacosaponin VI on BMSCs, osteoblasts, osteoclasts, and related biological signaling pathways is reviewed, in order to provide references for basic research, clinical application, and new drug development of dipsacosaponin VI. |
