| The aging of the population has caused the prevalence of Sarcopenia (Sarcopenia) to increase year by year, epidemiological investigation shows that the disease can cause serious disability rate and mortality, which has attracted a lot of attention from scholars at home and abroad. However, there are still differences in understanding of the disease,for the pathogenesis of sarcopenia, risk factors, diagnostic evaluation and treatment. The research on mycopsis in China is still in the exploratory stage. Sarcopenia is an independent risk factor for fragility fractures, and timely diagnosis and treatment of sarcopenia is of great significance for reducing the risk of fractures and falls. Studying the correlation of sarcopsis and osteoporosis is also the key research direction for the prevention of fall fractures.This article will review the new progress of sarcopenia in terms of overview, epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and therapeutic intervention. |
