System biology? as an integrative medicine? elucidates the complex physiological and pathological states of organisms
from the whole. It mainly includes genomics? proteomics? transcriptomic? metabolomics? and network pharmacology. Osteoporosis
has the characteristics of high fracture risk? reduced bone strength? and deterioration of bone microstructure. Fragility fracture caused
by osteoporosis is one of the main causes of disability and death in the elderly. The characteristics of overall analysis of systems
biology have some commonalities with the characteristics of systemic metabolic diseases of osteoporosis to some extent. In recent
years? the omics technology contained in system biology has been applied in the research work of osteoporosis? showing unique
advantages. In this paper? the application progress of system biology technology in osteoporosis research in recent years is reviewed
in order to provide a basis for the further application of system biology technology in osteoporosis research. |
