Bone senescence is a physiological or pathological state of imbalance of osteogenesis, osteoclast, adipogenesis and chondrogenesis. Iron death is a new regulatory mode of cell death, which plays an important role in bone aging. It was found that iron death plays a key regulatory role in osteogenesis, osteoclast, adipogenesis, chondroblast and osteocytes. This paper discusses the correlation between iron death and bone aging from the above five aspects, providing new ideas for prevention and treatment of bone aging related diseases. |
