肌少症(sarcopenia)是以骨骼肌量减少、肌肉力量下降和/ 或躯体功能减退为主要表现的进行性、广泛性的全身性疾病,
与老年人跌倒、失能、骨折等不良事件密切相关。肌少症发病机制复杂,目前暂无特异性治疗药物。热休克蛋白(heat stress
protein, HSP)是一类高度保守的应激蛋白,有研究发现HSP 在维持肌肉健康方面具有重要意义。因此,本文拟就老年肌少症
的特点及发病机制、HSP 及其与老年肌少症关系和潜在机制进行综述,以期为国内外同行防治老年肌少症提供思路。 |

Sarcopenia has been defined as a progressive decline of skeletal muscle mass, muscle strength, and physical functions,
and is associated with adverse events such as falls, disability, and fractures in older adults. The pathogenesis of sarcopenia is
complex and there is no specific drug to treat it. Heat shock protein (HSP) is a highly conserved stress protein, and it has been
found that HSP plays an important role in maintaining muscle health. Thus, this study aimed to describe the characteristics and
pathogenesis of sarcopenia, summarize the relationship between HSP and sarcopenia and the potential mechanism, to provide a
reference for domestic and foreign counterparts to manage sarcopenia. |
