Osteoporosis and rotator cuff injury are common in clinic, and they have some common risk factors and pathological
mechanisms. Oxidative stress refers to the imbalance between the generation and elimination of reactive oxygen species. Excessive
reactive oxygen species lead to cell damage and apoptosis, affect cell function and cause disease. It has been found that oxidative
stress plays an important role in the pathogenesis of osteoporosis and rotator cuff injury. This article reviews the role of oxidative
stress in the pathogenesis of the comorbidity of osteoporosis and rotator cuff injury, in order to provide new ideas for the treatment of
the comorbidity of rotator cuff injury and osteoporosis. |
