| TCM is a treasure of Chinese civilization. It has a unique holistic view, a dialectical view and a balance view, and has a variety of treatment methods. Inheritance and innovation are crucial to the development of TCM. By analyzing the theory of “Kidney Governing Bone”, “Spleen-Kidney Correlation Theory”, and “Blood Stasis Theory”, the pathogenesis and prevention of osteoporosis have been studied, and remarkable results have been achieved. Professor Huang Hongxing's research group has been deeply engaged in this field for many years, and classified the TCM syndromes of osteoporosis into three types: spleen-kidney yang deficiency, liver-kidney yin deficiency and kidney deficiency and blood stasis. The clinical path of traditional Chinese medicine attaches great importance to the quality of life of patients, starts with the occurrence of spleen-kidney, musculoskeletal and mitochondria and osteoporosis, forms the concept of musculoskeletal treatment, and summarizes the “spleen-kidney-musclebone-mitochondria theoretical system”, and further connect the macro and micro to carry out research on the pathogenesis of osteoporosis and the intervention effect of TCM compound, which further enriches the theoretical system of TCM for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. |
