Objective To build a national hierarchical health management platform for middle-aged and elderly people with osteoporosis, and to strengthen the digital management of osteoporosis patient archives. Methods The national basic archives, standardized diagnosis and treatment process, and data management standards for middle-aged and elderly people with osteoporosis were formulated. Using the adopt enterprise-level application technology architecture, a national hierarchical health management platform for middle-aged and elderly people with osteoporosis composed of user layer, presentation layer, application layer, data layer and storage layer was developed. The application demonstration was conducted. Results A national hierarchical health management platform for middle-aged and elderly people with osteoporosis was built, which consisted of functional modules such as patient management, sample management, statistical management, parameter management, user management, log management, and information release. It was upgraded and improved in the application demonstration of central hospitals and community hospitals, providing technical support for the standardized management of middle-aged and elderly people with osteoporosis across the country. Conclusion The national osteoporosis hierarchical health management platform has realized the information management of osteoporosis patient archives, established a two-way referral mode between central hospitals and community hospitals. This is beneficial to improve the diagnosis and treatment rate and compliance of osteoporosis patients, and to promote the rational allocation of Chinese medical resources. |
