| Osteoporosis is a disease characterized by decreased bone mass and microarchitecture, which predisposes to decreased bone strength and increased risk of fracture. the high morbidity, morbidity, and mortality of OP and its complications remain a significant global health problem.Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatment has multi-pathway, multi-target and multi-level synergistic effect and significant effect. Rehmannia glutinosa Libosch is a traditional chinese medicine, which has been widely used in medicine for many years to treat osteoporosis. Therefore, by summarizing the relevant research on the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis by rehmannia and its active ingredients in recent years, this paper discusses its mechanism in multiple dimensions, deeply explores the potential targets, and summarizes some problems existing in relevant research, so as to provide new ideas for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis in traditional Chinese medicine. |
