| With the increasingly serious aging of the population in China, senile osteoporosis has become one of the chronic diseases seriously affecting the health of the elderly. The treatment of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine may learn from each other, optimize the diagnosis and treatment plan, and improve the diagnosis and treatment effect. In recent years, it has been more and more widely used in the clinical and scientific research of senile osteoporosis. In order to better standardize the application of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the diagnosis and treatment of senile osteoporosis, the Osteoporosis Prevention and Development Community of the Chinese Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in conjunction with the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, according to the standard of evidence-based medicine, organizes multi-disciplinary experts to form a guideline-developing expert group. After the process of guided project establishment and registration, clinical problem screening and determination, evidence retrieval and evaluation, recommendation formation, the guideline for diagnosis and treatment of senile osteoporosis with the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine is formed. The guideline covers the diagnosis and treatment of senile osteoporosis with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine, aiming to standardize and improve the clinical diagnosis and treatment level of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine for senile osteoporosis and protect the health of the elderly in China. |
