Osteoporosis (OP) is a metabolic disorder of bone disease. It is currently a serious disease endangering human health. Its core pathogenesis throughout the whole process of the occurrence and development is deficiency, stasis, and toxin. Pyroptosis is a programmed death accompanied by inflammatory response, which leads to the release of cell contents and a large number of inflammatory factors. Among them, NLRP3 inflammatory body, il-1β, il-18, and other inflammatory factors play an important role in the progression of OP. They are also the microscopic manifestation of the pathogenesis of deficiency, stasis, and toxin. Therefore, the relationship between pyroptosis and OP is discussed based on the deficiency stasis toxin theory. Using nourishing kidney and invigorating blood as the treatment method, the mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of OP is explored. This may provide a reference for the treatment of OP. |
