2型糖尿病性骨质疏松是2型糖尿病的重要并发症,高血糖环境及其导致的器官损伤和有害物质积累可以引起骨质量下降。铁死亡是一种铁依赖性细胞程序性死亡,其特点是与细胞铁浓度有关的脂质过氧化物生成和质膜破坏。2型糖尿病环境下的骨相关细胞被发现倾向于发生铁死亡从而导致骨质疏松,而调节骨相关细胞铁死亡则有望对2型糖尿病性骨质疏松起到治疗作用。笔者拟对2型糖尿病性骨质疏松发生过程中骨相关细胞铁死亡的起因及特点进行综述,从而为明确2型糖尿病诱发骨质疏松的可能原因和靶向相关细胞铁死亡以缓解2型糖尿病性骨质疏松的基础研究与临床治疗提供新的角度与参考。 |

Type 2 diabetic osteoporosis is a significant complication of type 2 diabetes mellitus. The high blood sugar environment and resulting organ damage and accumulation of harmful substances lead to decreased bone mass. Ferroptosis is an iron-dependent programmed cell death characterized by lipid peroxidation and membrane damage associated with cellular iron concentration. Bone-related cells in the type 2 diabetes environment are found to be prone to undergo ferroptosis, leading to osteoporosis. Modulating ferroptosis in bone-related cells holds promise for treating type 2 diabetic osteoporosis. This article aims to review the causes and characteristics of ferroptosis in bone-related cells during the development of type 2 diabetic osteoporosis, so as to provide a new perspective and reference for the basic research and clinical treatment of type 2 diabetic osteoporosis by identifying the possible causes of type 2 diabetic induced osteoporosis and to target ferroptosis in relevant cell to alleviate type 2 diabetic osteoporosis. |
