Exploring the relationship among vascular endothelial dysfunction, inflammation, and bone pathology is of great significance, which is not only related to understanding the pathogenesis of multiple diseases, but also crucial for discovering new orthopedic disease treatment methods and prevention strategies. There are a large number of microvessels in bone. Endothelial cells (ECs) are directly involved in the regulation of hemodynamics, the contraction of blood vessels, and the prevention and treatment of thrombosis, which play a key role in the occurrence and development of bone pathology. At the same time, inflammation, as the body's natural response to disease or injury, plays a key role in controlling infection and promoting damage repair. However, persistent inflammatory states are associated with the development of a variety of chronic diseases, including osteoporosis and other osteopathological conditions. This article reviews the relationship among endothelial dysfunction, inflammation, and bone pathology, in order to provide a basis for the development of orthopedic medicine and the improvement of orthopedic patient care. |
