| Objective To analyze the correlation between glycolipid metabolism indicators and osteoporosis in patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods A retrospective study was conducted, and114 patients with type 2 diabetes who visited our hospital from January 2023 to December 2024 were selected. Bone mineral density of the lumbar vertebrae and femur was detected. Blood glucose metabolism indicators of fasting blood glucose (FBG), hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), fasting insulin (FINS), fasting C-peptide, and lipid metabolism indicators of triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) were detected. Results According to bone mineral density, the research subjects were divided into the normal bone mass group (27 cases, accounting for 23.68%), the osteopenia group (38 cases, accounting for 33.33%), and the osteoporosis group (49 cases, accounting for 42.98%). In the osteoporosis group, the levels of FBG, HbA1c, FINS, TG, TC and LDL-C were higher than those in the other two groups, while the fasting C-peptide and HDL-C were lower than those in the other two groups (P<0.05). in the osteopenia group, the levels of FBG, HbA1c, FINS, TG, TC and LDL-C were higher than those in the normal bone mass group. Fasting C-peptide and HDL-C were lower than those in the normal bone mass group (P<0.05). The bone mineral density of the lumbar spine and femur was significantly negatively correlated with FBG, HbA1c, FINS, TG, TC and LDL-C, and significantly positively correlated with fasting C-peptide and HDL-C (P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that HbA1c, FINS, fasting C-peptide and LDL-C were all independent influencing factors for the occurrence of osteoporosis. Conclusion The disorder of glucose and lipid metabolism in patients with type 2 diabetes is closely related to osteoporosis, and HbA1c, FINS, fasting C-peptide and LDL-C are independent influencing factors for the occurrence of osteoporosis. |
