| Objective To investigate the effect of MOTOmed intelligent exercise training on postoperative bone metabolism and pain stress indexes in patients with tibial plateau fracture (FTP). Methods 132 FTP patients admitted to our hospital from June 2022 to June 2024 were selected and divided into a control group (conventional rehabilitation training) and a treatment group (conventional rehabilitation training plus MOTOmed intelligent exercise training) according to the postoperative rehabilitation training method. After 1:1 matching by the PSM method, each group included 52 cases. Bone metabolism and pain stress indicators were compared between the two groups. Repeated measures analysis of variance was used to assess whether there were statistically significant effects of time, group, and their interaction on bone metabolism indicators [BGP, OPG, ALP, β-CTX, 25-(OH)D] and pain stress indicators (SP, PGE2, NPY) at different time points in the two groups. A parallel trend test was used to examine the effect of the training method on bone metabolism and pain stress indicators.Log-binomial regression analysis was performed on the concurrency rate of the two groups. Results After matching, the propensity scores of the two groups tend to be consistent in the overall distribution. With prolonged training time, BGP, ALP, and 25-(OH)D levels increase, with the treatment group higher than the control group; OPG and β-CTX decrease, and the treatment group is lower than the control group (P<0.05). SP, PGE2, and NPY in both groups first increase and then decrease, with the treatment group lower than the control group (P<0.05). The time effect, between-group effect, and interaction effect of bone metabolism and pain stress indicators in both groups are all statistically significant (P<0.05), and the above indicators meet the parallel trend assumption before receiving training. The incidence of complications in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion As opposed to traditional rehabilitation therapy, MOTOmed training mode can improve the postoperative efficacy, promote the recovery of joint function, promote bone metabolism, enhance the pain and stress response management, while decreasing the incidence of postoperative complications in patients with FTP. |
